4. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Legal basis for maintaining the register:

  • Personal data is processed on the basis of a customer relationship.
  • Personal data is processed on the basis of consent (e.g., newsletter subscription or consent to marketing).

Purposes of processing personal data:

  • Managing customer relationships (order processing, invoicing, customer service).
  • Delivery of digital products.
  • Providing information about services and marketing.
  • Sending of newsletter.
  • Analysis of the newsletters’ content and number of recipients.

Data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Data Stored in the Register

The customer register may include the following data:

  • Customer’s name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name and Business ID (if corporate customer)
  • Billing information
  • Order history (purchased products, payment details)
  • Customer feedback and contact requests

The marketing register may include the following data:

  • Email address

6. Regular Sources of Data

Data stored in the register is obtained from the customer directly, e.g., through online forms, email, phone, social media services, contracts, customer meetings, and other situations in which the customer provides their information.

7. Regular Disclosure of Data and Transfer of Data Outside the EU/EEA

Data is not disclosed for marketing purposes outside of Pilke Research, Development and Coaching.
Payment transactions are processed via Holvi, which operates in compliance with EU data protection legislation. Personal data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

8. Duration of Processing

Personal data is generally processed for as long as the customer relationship exists.
A registered person can unsubscribe from the marketing list via the link included in each marketing email.

9. Processing of Personal Data and Data Security

The data controller ensures the security of personal data appropriately. Our service providers comply with data protection legislation, and we ensure that data is processed confidentially.

10. Rights of the Data Subject

The data subject has the following rights:

Right to lodge a complaint: The data subject may file a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if they believe their data protection rights have been violated.

Right of access: The data subject may request access to the personal data we hold about them.

Right to rectification: The data subject may request the correction of inaccurate data.

Right to object: The data subject may object to the processing of their personal data.

Right to prohibit direct marketing: The data subject may prohibit the use of their data for marketing purposes.

Right to erasure: The data subject has the right to request the deletion of their personal data.

Right to withdraw consent: If processing is based on consent, the data subject may withdraw their consent at any time.
