I am Leni Grünbaum – a development professional, DSc, organizational researcher, and improvisation theatre practitioner. I collaborate with organizations that strive torwards a sustainable, responsible, and thriving future. I offer tailored services for professionals and work communities that are amid of change or have identified the need for change. Our work strengthens the participants’ capacity to act and enhances their ability to navigate change. It reshapes how people relate to one another and to what matters in the change process. By generating energy, courage, and a sense of community, our work permits people to move forward together.
In addition, I offer training in leadership and facilitation, supporting participants in strengthening the capacity to act and the change capability of their own stakeholders.
What I offer
My approach is firmly grounded in research and in embodied, creative ways of working. In my doctoral research, I focused on affect—the energy that emerges and shifts in encounters. Affect is vital in both change processes and leadership, as it can either strengthen or diminish our capacity to act. By influencing our emotions, thoughts, and actions, it determines what becomes possible. We may experience trust, curiosity, and the joy of insight, which foster collaboration—or, conversely, distance, rigidity, and disconnection, where shared movement fails to emerge.
I have explored the potential of embodied and creative methods to create new affective opportunities both as a researcher and as a theatre practitioner. Engaging with the senses, movement, and space helps to identify what is essential, transforms difference into a resource and generates courage to experiment with new approaches. Moreover, embodied and creative ways of working are interesting and inspiring!
Let’s connect and co-create the next energizing steps toward enhanced clarity, courage and community in your personal or collective journey.
